Events - 2007 SEMA Show
Aside from the Muscle Car theme of 2006, this was the best SEMA show yet. The big three automakers had their new car prototypes on display including two 2009 Camaro's. GM showed a strong commitment to their performance parts division with over 20 GM crate engines, which were on full display and attracted as much attention as did the new car designs. A GM engineer told us that the summer of 2009 will see the release of the 427 big block cast in aluminum. This will be limited edition run of..... you guessed it.. 427 units. Estimated cost $20k. A larger run of cast iron blocks will also be available.
