Events - 2006 Turkey Rod Run
This year's 2006 Turkey Rod Run at Daytona Beach proved to be one of the largest ever. It was reported that over 8,000 cars were entered between the car corral and show car area. There was at least one of each variety of American Muscle on display. Trans Am’s were proudly represented and there were several “show quality” ones present.
There was over 1000 vendors and a Swap Meet area that took up several acres. There were night events that included burn-outs, dyno testing and a must-see automotive teeter-totter contest. It was a well planed event and well worth the trip. We will return next year.
