Events - 2006 SEMA Show

The automotive industry celebrated “American Muscle” at this years 40th annual SEMA show. Sadly, the runway of cars representing that muscle did not include the beloved TA.

Out of the few hundred cars represented, we only found one Trans AM and it was at the Flowmaster booth. How is it that one coordinating the display of so many cars representing the muscle car era could overlook the 1970 Ram Air IV or the 1973 Super Duty? Pontiac was represented by the GTO and the Catalina 2+2. (Yee haw !) There were enough mustangs and camaros for everyone at the show to take home a six pack. Chrysler made it’s splash with Cuda’s, Challengers and Chargers both old and new.

In any event, we got to see some really neat cars, restoration tools and new OEM products. There were unveiling’s of concept cars and celebrities like Chip Foose and Reggie Jackson showing off their rides. We got some good photos of the 2009 Camaro and did confirm that there are no plans for the return of the Firebird as of yet.
